Oliver is a local lad, born in Peterborough and raised in a small village called Woodwalton, situated just outside of Huntingdon. After a period of time studying in Newcastle, Oliver returned to the area where a passion for Estate Agency was born working for a local Independent Estate Agent in several different branches across the area.
Oliver heads up our residential sales team, dealing with market appraisals as well as the disposal of residential development land and initial planning advice.
During the Summer Oliver enjoys playing cricket and has represented local teams including Godmanchester, St Ives and Huntingdonshire County, although his stories of success sometime vary from what the actual statistics say!
Although born in London James moved with his family to Cambridgeshire aged 5 and this is where the family has been based ever since. After completing his A-levels James moved on to gain a degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
James went on to work for a local independent property management company in Huntingdon where he spent time in the lettings and property management departments. James heads up the letting side of the business dealing with all aspects for Landlords and Tenants.
James currently lives in Huntingdon and has always had a passion for sport, especially football where he is in the unfortunate position of being a Newcastle United supporter, you can usually tell by his face on Monday morning whether they have won or lost over the weekend!
Lavelle joins Oliver James with over 20 years experiance in residential estate agency. Born and raised around Cambridgeshire, Lavelle enjoys spending time with her familly and early morning walks with her dogs!
George was born and raised in the Huntingdon area and schooled in a nearby town. After spending several years working for agencies in Cambridge, both independent and national, he has returned to Huntingdon to work on our lettings side.
He is an avid vinyl record collector and spends his weekends breaking things whilst trying to fix them. Unlike both Oliver and James, he isn't passionate about sports whatsoever. Despite this, he enjoys loyally supporting his beloved Derby County and tries to attend home games when possible.
From Shropshire originally, Katherine now resides in Cambridgeshire where she was first employed by the company over 8 years ago; during this time she has worked in various roles. Between looking after her two horses and dog, and renovating houses with her husband, Katherine is kept very busy, but still finds time to enjoy watching rugby matches and for her keen interest in baking.
A lifelong Cambridgeshire resident, Nicky started work with the company over 32 years ago, during which time she has gained knowledge and experience in all areas of lettings. Coming from a close-knit family, Nicky spends a great deal of time with her children, brothers and sister, but always finds time for her many hobbies which include crocheting, sewing, crafting and reading. However, there is nothing she enjoys more than training her Springer Spaniel, Murphy, and taking him on long countryside walks.
Having been raised in Huntingdon from the age of 4, Wendy’s knowledge of the area has proven useful during her twenty two years with the company. Family are very important to Wendy and she enjoys spending time with her 4 children and 10 grandchildren, but when they aren’t keeping her busy she likes to spend her time reading or looking after her garden.
Abbey was born and raised in Huntingdon and knows the local area’s well. Abbey has spent a lot of time studying Photography and has previously worked within the local college supporting the teaching team with their day of teaching Art and Photography to mainstream students and students with disabilities. Abbey has spent many years as a supervisor in retail providing excellent customer service. Abbey enjoys socialising and meeting new people in her spare time doing fashion Photography. Abbey loves being out and about and especially loves visiting zoos. Abbeys excited to start her journey with Oliver James as a letting’s negotiator and photographer.
Louise joined the Oliver James team in October 2019, primarily to ensure that our client's properties are being advertised to their best both online and in print. Louise's organisational skills ensure that not only are the properties are looking great but are up and running as soon as the details and photos are in. When not in the office Louise enjoys spending time with her lovely family where the kids certainly keep her busy!
Bev was born locally and after starting work at the age of 17 by the time she was in her 20's she was able to purchase her first property. Having started working with Oliver James as an outsourced accounts person with over 20 years of accountancy experience, Bev is now a full-time member of staff. Outside of work, Bev's interests include history and the countryside but she can be most often found with her family and friends or cheering her son on from the side of a football pitch.
Tia currently lives in Hemingford and joins Oliver James at the start of her Estate Agency career. Full of enthusiasm she works with our residential sales department, enjoying socialising and spending time with her family when out of working hours.
Heather is originally from a small hamlet in North Lincolnshire but travelled the country while working in education before settling in Cambridgeshire where she had her family. Whilst she is able to turn her hand to most areas within the company, Heather works primarily in our maintenance department, ensuring maintaining properties is hassle free for Landlords and Tenants. When not spending time with her family Heather enjoys keeping herself active and can frequently be found walking, boxing or at the gym.
Raised in Huntingdon from the age of 6, Jordan has a good knowledge of Huntingdon and the surrounding areas. Jordan has always had a passion for property since a young age and joins Oliver James with previous experience in this industry. When Jordan is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
